Region 7 Emergent Literacy Facilitation
The Office of Approaches to Teaching and Professional Learning, collaborating
with the Office of Early Learning and School Readiness, has developed this

three-part Birth–Age 5 Emergent Literacy series.

Part 2 - Developing Oral Language and Vocabulary for Emergent Literacy (7
hours, including 2 hours of fieldwork)

Audience: Early care and education professionals including infant
teachers, toddler teachers, preschool teachers, paraprofessionals, supervisors,
childcare workers, kindergarten teachers and others looking to build emergent

literacy skills in children from birth to age 5.
