Description: Universal Screeners help determine students who may need additional support or other types of instruction. This session will provide an overview of the importance of the assessment process, the use of the screening information, administration of a diagnostic assessment tool, and the purpose of creating an educational profile for each student that is appropriate for their individual need. Participants will receive a copy of the Assessing Reading Multiple Measures as well as a copy of Teaching Reading Sourcebook, which will be used to assist in creating a profile of the student that they can use to support growth and development.
