Erin Adkins, Regional Literacy Specialist

Erin Adkins, M.Ed.

Erin Adkins is a Regional Literacy Specialist committed to improving literacy outcomes for all students. 

Working as a literacy specialist, Ms. Adkins focuses on supporting the implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and evidence-based practices. She passionately believes in literacy as a civil right and works to support robust literacy systems both regionally and statewide. 

Ms. Adkins is a Certified Dyslexia Interventionist and an approved Ohio facilitator for the Department of Education and Workforce's Dyslexia and Science of Reading professional learning modules, as well as Ohio’s Literacy Improvement Pathways and Emergent Literacy. 

Ms. Adkins is licensed in Early Childhood, Principalship, and K-12 Intervention.

Ms. Adkins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Akron, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wright State University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Notre Dame College.
