Mike Hebenthal is a consultant with State Support Team 7 who works with school districts and school personnel to increase students' academic achievement and their social and emotional well-being.
Mr. Hebenthal spent 32 years working as a teacher, principal and superintendent and has come to understand the importance of educating the whole child. Mr. Hebenthal understands the need for all school staff to use proven strategies that help all students reach their full potential.
Mr. Hebenthal’s extensive leadership experiences as a school leader and as an officer in the United States Air Force has led to a deep understanding of effective leadership strategies that lead to operationalization and implementation of evidence-based systems.
Mr. Hebenthal holds a Superintendent, Principal and Teaching license through the Ohio Department of Education.
Mr. Hebenthal holds a B.S. in Education from Youngstown State University, a M.A. in Education Leadership from The University of Akron along with extensive post-degree coursework in Education and Leadership from Ashland University.
