Olivia Siegfried, M.Ed., NBCT

Olivia Siegfried is a consultant for State Support Team Region 7 who provides coaching, technical assistance, and professional learning to educational leaders in school districts and buildings in the areas of special education and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Ms. Siegfried believes that all students should have equal access within their learning environment to high-quality instruction that facilitate opportunities for students to thrive in a positive school climate. Educational leaders should not only measure a student’s success through academic achievements but also need to consider if all students have equal access within their learning to the five whole child tenets of healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged (ASCD Whole Child Framework). Ms. Siegfried encourages regional special education leaders to deepen their knowledge of IDEA compliance, yet also prioritize the significance of effective implementation and delivery of services as a top priority within their district (Levenson, 2020).  

Ms. Siegfried holds an Ohio Professional Principal License (PK-6) and a Professional Education of the Handicapped (K-12) License with a Prekindergarten Special Needs endorsement. Ms. Siegfried achieved certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards as a National Board Certified Teacher Exceptional Needs Specialist/ Early Childhood Through Young Adult in 2007 and maintains current certification as a National Board Certified Teacher.

Ms. Siegfried graduated with a Master of Education Degree from the Patton College of Education at The Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the College of Education at The Ohio University.
