Stacey Swank is a consultant who serves the leaders and districts in State Support Team Region 7. She is passionate for driving positive change in Ohio’s educational landscape. Ms. Swank specializes in empowering educators, school leaders, and districts to achieve academic excellence through targeted strategies and comprehensive support systems. Her focus includes literacy, career advising, post-secondary transition, the Ohio Improvement Process, working with Comprehensive Support and Improvement Schools (CSI), and coaching principals through Ohio’s Leadership for Inclusion, Implementation, & Instructional Improvement (OLi4).
Driven by the belief that all students can succeed given the right instructional support and pathways tailored to their needs, Ms. Swank collaborates closely with school leadership teams to identify root causes of underperformance and develop solutions that drive sustainable improvement. By empowering leaders and equipping them with evidence based practices, she aims to create systems and change that opens doors for every student.
Ms. Swank earned her reading certification through The Ohio State University and her Dyslexia Certification through the University of Florida. At Cleveland State University’s Center of Educational Leadership, she earned her principal license for the State of Ohio. She also received her National Board Certification in English Language Arts, Early Adolescence.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Education (K-8) degree through The Ohio State University and Master of Arts in Education (Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild to Moderate) through Mount Vernon Nazarene University, has afforded her the opportunity to have firsthand experience in many teaching and administrative positions.
