Stacy Hunsinger, Masters in Education, is a dedicated education professional with a passion for catalyzing positive change within schools and communities. With nearly three decades of experience in the field of education, Ms. Hunsinger is recognized for her expertise in school improvement strategies and her commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
Born and raised in Ashland, Ohio, Ms. Hunsinger’s interest in education was sparked at a young age. She witnessed firsthand the profound impact that effective teaching and school leadership can have on students' lives, igniting her desire to pursue a career in educational consultancy.
After completing her undergraduate studies in Education, Ms. Hunsinger went on to earn her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Ashland University. Ms. Hunsinger has both her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Educational Leadership. Throughout her academic journey, she delved deep into the theories and practices of educational reform, seeking innovative solutions to address the diverse challenges faced by schools.
Ms. Hunsinger’s professional career began in the classroom, where she honed her teaching skills and developed a keen understanding of the complexities of the education system. However, her true calling emerged when she transitioned into the role of an instructional coach and then ultimately as a School Improvement Consultant with State Support Team 7.
As a consultant, Ms. Hunsinger has worked with schools of all types, from urban districts and community schools struggling with low performance to rural communities striving for excellence. Drawing on her extensive knowledge of educational theory and research, as well as her practical experience, Ms. Hunsinger collaborates closely with educators, administrators, and community stakeholders to develop customized improvement plans tailored to each school's unique needs.
Ms. Hunsinger’s approach to school improvement is grounded in evidence and what research says works in schools. She recognizes that true transformation requires addressing not only academic outcomes but also social and emotional well-being, equity and diversity, and community engagement. By fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, Ms. Hunsinger empowers schools to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
In addition to her consultancy work, Ms. Hunsinger has a vast knowledge in the area of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), EDSTEPS, Ohio Improvement Process (OIP) and Literacy. Ms. Hunsinger currently provides professional development, technical assistance and coaching, sharing her insights and best practices with leaders and educators around the state . She is a firm believer in the power of education to change lives and is dedicated to inspiring others to join her in the pursuit of educational excellence for ALL students.
