Steve Short is an SST 7 Consultant who works with the Community Schools, Dropout Credit Recovery Buildings, School Districts and Buildings in Region 7 to assist school and district leadership, as well as other school personnel, improve student outcomes in their academic and non-academic endeavors.
Mr. Short believes that providing another set of eyes to a problem or situation can be beneficial to the educator or educators. Mr. Short has worked at SST 7 for eleven years and finds it very rewarding when districts reach out to him for support.
Mr. Short uses his past life experiences in being a teacher, a principal, a Direct of Student Services and a Superintendent in his work with Local Education Agencies (LEA).
Mr. Short graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Bluffton College (University) and a Master’s Degree in Administration from Ashland University.
